Send her some encouragement. See if we can get her to start creating for Doodle Week this month.

August 25th - 31st

Come doodle in the last week of August. Get bytten by the doodle bug.

For themes each day we have nothing but one ( so far).

In honour of my Grandmother's birthday on August 31st the doodle theme for that day is ... Party!

The Round Doodling Contest!

RaShell over at doodlage is running an cool competition, which involves doodling with a twist.

I suppose I should say it actually involves a curve not a twist, because the doodling is to be on a Cd.

If you don't actually want to doodle on a blank Cd, I have found this blank template for you to use.

Just right click it and save it to your computer. Then you can either print it out and hand doodle or just keep it on your computer and doodle using a computer program.

Read this post!

So how do you play?

Firstly photograph,scan, upload your doodle.

• Post it on your blog then email it to RaShell here : Doodlage
• Or post it on your blog and leave a comment on: This Post.
• Post it to the CDoodles flickr group: CDoodles

The prize is a doodled on rock which, when you see RaShell's blog, are cool!

Competition Closes August 12th!

Drawing 365 Days

365 Special Days -

My name is Fernando Luis Lara. I'm a brazilian artist living and working in the US, and I draw the 365 days of the year. In fact, I draw the stories of people who had a very special day on any of the 365 days of the year as part of a conceptual online and offline art project.

The idea is quite simple: you let me know what happened on your special day, and I will draw it. You will get the original drawing (9 x 12 inches = 23 x 31 cm) by mail, and your story and the drawing will be shown on this website. Over time, this website will be a collection of special days all over the world, and remind us just how special each and every day can be.

Thank you Doodlers!

Next Doodle Week is being planned for the week of Halloween this Autumn. Also, Claire and I are happy to have Mo join us as a Doodle Maniac.
